Steering Box Mount Heavy Duty for Jeep CJ5 CJ7 CJ8 Bare Steel SB7686 M. Heavy Duty Bare Steel Steering Box Mount. With Stock Power Steering Box. The stock Jeep® CJ steering box mounts are stamped steel (1/8), and not known for their strength. If you have tires larger then 33, and a front locker, the steering brace above is not enough to hold the box in place.

This Heavy Duty Steering Box Mount is made from 3/8" and 1/2" thick steel and will lock the box to the frame better then any other method. Works with a Shackle Reversal System, or stock set-up.
